Do not put a blower on your car unless you're prepared to do a rebuild when the time comes as everybody joins "the club" ...(rebuild club that is) sooner or later.

How many miles on your Z?

a 100k stock lt1 is not the best choice for a shortblock with a blown motor. If you are going to rebuild the motor when it blows up than you fine. But if you can spring for the bottom end I wouldn't. A 150 shot of nitrous would make your car run faster and would be lots cheaper. You have to thing about all the other supporting mods your going to have to do. A fuel system, dyno tuning, etc. are all needed for a blower. Nitrous you'll need a fuel pump and safty accessories. Good luck

Then a blower is not for you.

I joined this club. At first I wasn't very happy, but a year and a half (and roughly $8,000 later), I'm getting used to it.

Having a superfueler will mean one more thing you have to put back on when you rebuild, which is inevitable w/ a blown motor.

Its just that our cars have a high comp ratio, and terrible forced induction pistons. Get a 100 shot/ heads and cam you will be plenty fast and way cheaper/reliable.

It's funny how I always see they guys with blowers telling people not to get a blower... lol. But yea, I'm ready for this motor to pop. So if you want to be forced, accept the fact that you will need a new motor with it eventually.
