Re: fuel pump options

I'm using the Racetronix harness and 255 pump and it is enough for around 15psi boost on my 355 (11.2 @127). MIght try one of their harnesses that feeds directly off the alternator which will give you a little more voltage.

LOL. I've used the Walbro 255 inline and also an Aviator pump (believe it's approx 271lph) and neither of them worked very well for me. The car demanded a bit of fuel and when I got into boost pretty heavy , the fuel would get sucked out of the basket and then the fuel pump would then burn itself up since it's fuel cooled.

I read on one of the Vette forums that you can run the Bosch 390/420 either inline or in the tank (with a little modification). I run a sumped tank and it works great for me

I replaced a working, but anemic, stock pump with the Racetronix 340 & alternator rewire kit thinking I wouldn't need the T-Rex in-line anymore, and it all works, but doesn't keep the pressure under boost - I was real dissapointed. If I turn on the in-line, then I have all the pressure I need and it works great. That racetronix pump was a waste of money, in my situation, anyway.

Re: fuel pump options

None of you have tried a dual intank pump setup? On stock lines it will easily support 700rwhp.
