Fuel injector adv. for D1 TPI
Fuel injector adv. for D1 TPI
OK I was planning on dropping in a 383 with AFR heads and a Mini Ram 2 intake and a ZZ9 cam but I want to run a procharger D1 with the twin high flow intercoolers. So I thought I should just by the supercharger now so that when I build the motor I can put in the lower compression pistons and not worry about a drop in power till I can buy the D1. Question is how big injectors do you think I will need, what about an ignition. I was thinking of a MSD digital box and an ignition retard control. Does MSD make an ignition retard that runs of the knock sensor. And the last question, I was going to install TPIS's level 6 prom but what about dyno tuning, I now live in Coatesville PA and really don't know any good shops out here? Anyone know anything about the area?
I hope this doesn't sound too much like a commercial [
], but if you run an Acceleronics box you can pick any injector you want between stock and 160 lb/hr. My car ran 139+ with 75's, which equates to about 780 hp (3650# car). Hugh's car dyno'd at 600 rwhp with 83's (call it 700 crank), and I'm expecting to get north of 1000 crank hp with 95's.
How much hp do you expect to make (be realistic!)?
MSD 50s are high impedance, BTW

I was looking to put out between 650-750 crank. I had a stang putting out 718 crank HP(393+votek T-trim+ aftercooler) that was stolen 2 years ago so this isn't a pipe dream and yes I understand how radical that is on the strett(sorry to go on, it's just most people don't get it and preach about how they don't agree with my goal)
