FPR to replace FMU?

I was just wondering if anyone makes an adjustable fuel pressure regulator for an LT1 that references boost enough to totally do away with the FMU.
I need a new regulator, and figured if anyone makes one, that would be the thing to get and it would get it looking a lot better under the hood.
Thanks
Stevie Whitley

ok.........I'll tell you about the FPR if you tell me about the hard intake tube from mufflex that you have on you p600b....deal?..

I have the same blower as you on my 355ci and I use the Accel FPR #ACC-74566 (its not flashy)from summit that cost around $100 ....it ups the fuel pressure on a 1:1 ratio.... however...my blower is set up to run 12psi and I see a 15psi gain on my fuel presure WOT...and thats a good thing for me...I dont mind it being a little rich...

If you want one that is flashy Areomotive makes some but they cost a good chunk of change...about twice the price.

Hope that helps...

so whats the skinny on the hard pipe from mufflex?..the only one I see listed is for the D1 blower..I have been looking for a hard pipe for a while and I have had no luck.Anything you could tell me about yours would be great.....like how I can get one...

Deal,
The hard inlet tube is for a D1, but works perfect, all connections are the same.
I dont know how much difference it made, I got the kit used and it came with it. It just attaches to the orange dryer hose on the back of the supercharger, and kind of snakes down the frame rail into the L/F and makes a 180 where the MAF and air filter hook up. It does limit the size of your air filter though, it will hit the inner wheel house if you use one of any size.
Thanks for the info on the regulator, I had seen that the aeromotive references boost 1:1, but didn't know about the accel or any others.
If anyone knows of any others to consider let me know.
Thanks
Stevie

I've seen alot of people complaining about the performance of the aeromotive AFPR, might want to research that unit before shelling out the dough.

I am one, AM FPRs are total junk mine leaked from vac and so did my brothers. It never increased on a 1 to 1, and my overall pressure droped. I would not wast the money on AFPR. The stock unit is fine for 700+rwhp and it increases on a 1 to 1 anyway. I put Delco unit on FP went to 65 @ WOT. ECM will wont really care what you set it at either. If you want to be rid of the fmu just buy some bigger injector 42s and a larger intank pump gss340.
