Hey Jose is a good person to work with. I have bought parts from him and have no complaints. I will buy from him again and I understand how the delay can get to you. Ihave too had some time issue with PTK but I am planning on buying from them again as well.

I went to my credit card company and they did what they had to do, but I got all my credit back plus interest for the time they charged my card until I reported them to my card company.
Lucky for you that your card company gave your money back. Mine basically told me there was nothing they could do since it was past the their time limit. $2400 down the drain.

Later,

Steve.

I feel the pain for you guys that got hosed by Nu-tek. Some of our own turbo customers were waiting for engines and parts from them......of course, nothing was ever recieved. . They have joined a long line of businesses gone belly up..... Most popular would have to be INCON (Dave inall)....which took tons of peoples money, then fled to Austrailia to work for APS turbo....its a miracle someone hasn't gone to visit him yet..

Well if Dave Inall gets the most poplular award, then Nick Norris of Nu-Tek gets the repeat award. I believe this is the third time he's started a business, ran it into the ground and then walked away w/ a lot of people's money.

I don't know how Nick made out because he owed a lot of people money as well. We're talking at least $35k+ to Sunnen, Comp and the State of Ohio for back taxes.

Later,

Steve.

Re: Forced Induction.com??? Warning!!!

The stories about PTK's slow service doesn't surprise me. It took me 2 months to get a pair of flanges from them when I built my turbo setup. I understand the way the business works, but I also learn from my mistakes. Everything else I've ordered has either come straight from the manufacturer (Precision Turbo, Spearco) or reputable dealers (VSRacing, High Temp Silicone).

I must've been one of the few people to get a Nu-Tek motor that didn't take it deep. Mine's had no problems (except top-end problems which are my doing).

and i agree...Dave Inall gets the most popular award, followed closely by Chris Gelineau.

Re: Forced Induction.com??? Warning!!!

I actually ordered my PTK kit a few months ago. I was fully aware of the build time and was updated by Dalton at PTK with respect to the progress of my kit. I was never worried about getting hosed or not getting the parts on time. So in my experience I have nothing but good things to say about PTK and their staff. In a way I am indeed defending jose and his company, but in the big picture I am defending all good businesses. We can sit here and try to draw absurd connections between a private business and ENRON, which completely rediculous or look at what really sometimes happens, unexpected delays and mistakes which we as humans all make. The point here is that jose and forced inductions made customer contact and explained the situation. I would take a different stance if there were more than a couple people on this board who have had a bad experience with FI. Enough said.

I spent over $3000.00 with Jose over 4 months ago and have asked him over 15 times to send my receipt and he hasn't, I have emailed him and called him he doesn't reply. He sold me a used MSD boost controller for new and charged me full price and my parts are always a month or more late.
I don't deal with him anymore.

Al, everything you have received is new and complete. Also any delays were from Precision turbo directly not us. Also we recieved 1 e-mail and two voice messages from you. Also when you leave a message pertaining racial profiling I will not, nor will my company respond....PERIOD. We don't see color over the phone nor in person, no matter how you view us.

Thank You.

this thread has lived long enough and maybe we should stop all the bashing,
except for the the ethical business owner we have (96PTKZ28) now that guys needs an awakining . I didn't know that Forced Induction had item drop shipped from other companies, but Jose you need to let your customers know when you know there will be delays from them... I would definately understand, but my only concern is since I am military I can deploy (leave at anytime) and need someone to make sure that my goodies are not hijacked .

I won't work with jose any more either. I have waited well over a year to get a turbo flange for my pt-88. I have given up. Every time I would call jose would give me another excuse. I called my credit card company, but it was too late. They only give you 90 days to complain and I waited 12 months. Regardless, very dissapointed with the service and I would not buy again.

Flange for a PT88??? We have those on the shelf. IF you were trying to get ahold of us, we sure never knew. Heck if we charged you for it, I will refund you for it no problem.

Re: Forced Induction.com??? Warning!!!

Yea, I know you have them on the shelf.... You said that the last 5X we talked. Actually, the last conversation was... Jose- 'You still havent got that thing. I told precision to send you one, I am sorry. Tell you what, I'll take it off the turbo in the shop and you will have it in a week'. That was november 05. I gave you plenty of oppurtunities to just send the part and you didn't. I am just dissapointed, I didn't want to be a nuisance customer. I called you about once a month for a year and still nothing. I am kinda glad that you are willing to use this occasion to make things right, it's just a shame that you otherwise would of let it slide. I don't have an invoce (you never sent one) so I can't give you the date of the transaction off hand, but the credit card company will have a record. If you really want to make good on our deal you can PM me, I can get the transaction date, and send the turbine flange and band clamp. I ordered a PT-88 w/ turbine flange and band clamp, and t4 turbine inlet flange... I only got the PT-88 compressor and the t4 turbine inlet flange.
