Of course, the only way for us to be made aware is by complaint from the customer.

This business of debiting the account beforehand, in an effort to make sure the money is there, is a no-no. If a customer lacks the funds, we will always find a way to get the merchant their money.

"Sorry to hear about your bad experience but S**T happens!" I suppose that same view could be applied to a merchant losing their ability to conduct VISA/MASTERCARD transactions. Or how about when people are sued? Intentional neglect of your staff size might as well be child neglect. I know, let me guess: "...but your honor, **** happens!"

Before we go getting all fartless about my post, let it be known I would still like to purchase my parts as the money alone does me little good.

We have no affiliation with Ohio forcedinduction....

Also re-read and see that the kit did not come from us. Also we have already corresponded with bowtie. All is well...

> oh and for the record I wasn't or atleast didn't mean to "trash" Jose for his knowlege or workmanship. But his company's customer service needs HELP!
Jose contacted me and stated that he took care of my "late" delivery of parts, but it would have been nice to have had them overnighted... would have compensated for their delays/mistakes.

Jose and Forced Inductions seems like a reputable company (stating this with parts still in transit) just needs to work on their shipping and Customer Service.

I went to my credit card company and they did what they had to do, but I got all my credit back plus interest for the time they charged my card until I reported them to my card company.

I remember when Nu-Tek was big around this site, and then they just dropped off tha map. I never new what happened to them. Well, that's good that you got your money back, but it still sucks you had to deal with that. You've got some bad luck.

Bowtie, I stand behind any good company including Joses. I run a company which is quite large and very successful to boot. I have countless satisfied customers and me saying that S**T happens is an expression of your current situation. I have NEVER treated a customer as such and would doubt jose has ever as well. But I like you have had similar things happen and in the end they have all worked out. My company is in the southwest and would have no decrease in business from comments from someone like yourself. My customers for the most part do not frequent the internet and could care less about what a "car guy" thinks. And my "business ethics" must not be too far off considering my success. Good luck on your project!

>The point of this hread was my concern with receiving my parts (all of them) and when I had a difficult time achieving that goal, well I thought that I should ask this sites members if there were any other members that had any similar problems with this company. I don't think I bashed Jose w/ any type of untruthfull statements just stating the facts about what I experianced with them. I do not run a successful business, but if I did and a customer had a problem with heir order then I would look into that problem and take care of it personally (i.e.-supplier problems, charges, etc) communicate with your customer I would guess that 99% of them would wait patiently for their paid parts.

>not to many of your customer frequent the internet? Oh and you would be surprised as to who a "car guy" really is! I order a lot from internet venders so I should expect trouble with shipping, supply, fraud, etc. , but this doesn't mean I have to take it.
and thanks my project is going good ... not smoothly but good

I ordered my kit directly from PTK on 01/31/06, and I still haven't gotten the complete kit.

Of coarse I was charged full price. Their excuse is that the sale they had was such a big success, and I ordered on the last day, that that was what was taking so long.

The only thing that has kept me at all sane with it is that the engine is taking almost as long. When you insist on certain people working on things, I guess that's the price you pay. Luckily, it will all be worth it!
