Forced Induction.com??? Warning!!!

>Hey has anyone dealt with them?
http://forcedinductions.com/
I know that a member here has somethng to do with them (owner, worker, etc) "JZ 97 SS 1500"
way back on May 06 2006 I purchased their Air to water intercooler kit for $2100.00 paid in full and about a month later received the intercooler core (nice piece), but nothing else... I contacted Jose and he told me that it would be delivered or atleast a tracking number by friday. well it's been about 2 weeks since their "friday" going on 3 and still no contact I understand the holidays but come on I paid in full and they promissed that I would get a tracking number by friday 18 plus days ago
I will say take caution when ordering from them (they may have good parts), but they are really slow and have poor contact no return emails or phone calls.

I've bought from them before and had great service. Jose knows his stuff and is a stand up guy. This is probably just a once in while thing. I won't hesitate to deal with him again.

Re: Forced Induction.com??? Warning!!!

Was it a PTK intercooler? If so, I wouldn't blame Jose for a delay in parts. Contrary to popular belief, A/W intercoolers and turbo kits aren't always in stock.

but seriously when you have a delay don't you think its common courtesy to let your customers know there will be a 2 month delay or when your customer calls and you tell them there will be a tracking number this friday... don't you think there should be some communication from the seller?
Or how about sending part of the shipment and not the whole thing without any reasoning?
Jose and Forcedinduction.com may be great people, but their customer service sucks!

We are here...and your IC lines have not been forgotten. PTK did build it, and they have taken some time do it . I am handling the rest myself...... Also for future reference we are not selling the IC anymore. Customers waiting months at a time is not good for us. Also part of the reason we dropped Master Power turbos, plus quality issues as well from MP. Once again sorry for the delays.

BTW, also calling us will be hit and miss. We are recieving over 150 calls a day during the summer months. Send us an e-mail and we will try to answer as soon as possible. Also keep in mind today alone we recieved 237 new e-mail messages . We now are an international company as well as have over 200 distributors worldwide, so things get a little crazy here. But we are usually here......

I have dealt with Jose in the past and he is indeed a man of his word. I myself own a very busy private company and I have distributors causing all kinds of delays for me that I have to in turn relay to the enormous amount of customers I have. Jose is in this same situation so before you start trashing him and his company try to give him a little slack. You are one unsatisfied customer. Sorry to hear about your bad experience but S**T happens! I am among the many on camaroz28.com that will continue to do business with and recommend a great company and very knowledgable guy.

Re: Forced Induction.com??? Warning!!!

Thanks guys for the support. I understand where Andre is coming from as well. He has spent hard earned money and is looking for the rewards. We sometimes do get stuck due to others not supplying parts and sending incorrect parts and that truely does suck. But we try our best to keep as many people happy as possible. With tons of customers we work with daily we rarely have complaints, but we try to help the ones that do get overkill delays.

Jose

That's why I made my original comment. I had a feeling that something like that was going down.

>So your telling me that I should just shut my mouth and let the dice roll? maybe I'll get the items I paid for (or maybe not?) Just wait until they are delivered whether its going to take a week, month or even year(s), but be patient even though I haven't heard from them? well guess what 96PTKZ28 you are one of the worst retailers I have ever heard from... "S**T happens" is not a good enough reason for me to trust someone with my hard earned $$$. I gave them the amount of money they quoted me (which they cashed on the spot) and havent heard from them until I inquired (numerous times) and only received partial delivery with no invoice, explanation, nothing going on the 2nd month since ordered.
But please tell me your business' name so I and everyone else can stay clear with your odd business ethics.

Re: Forced Induction.com??? Warning!!!

I have to agree with bowtiepwr. Even if ForcedInductions.com is not at fault for the delay, they should at least let the customer know what is going on.

It's not his fault that "Forceinductions.com is an international company . . . " and receives " . . . 150 e-mail messages a day . . " If they can't handle the influx of calls and growth, they need to hire more help.

I also am a small business owner, and I never cash my customer's checks until their orders are ready to be shipped. Once cleared, the items go out the door. I am sure if I tell any of MY Customers "sh*t happens" they will never call me
again. They don't want to hear excuses from me, they want to hear answers. "Sorry Mr. So and So our vendor has a delay and we can not ship the product, I will follow up with them next week and get back to you" and then I would actually do that.

I have nothing to say about their products or knowledge, they could have great products and invaluable knowledge, but from what I am seeing here, the customer service side needs some help.

Re: Forced Induction.com??? Warning!!!

A little communication goes a long way and as any savvy businessman knows, a dissatisfied customer will tell anybody who will listen about his bad experience and cost the business possible future sales. IMO, there is no excuse for bad customer service and poor communication. And no excuse for billing the customer in full for something that is NIS unless the customer understands that he needs to make a deposit for a special custom order product. Cyclical businesses do make it harder to staff properly, but if 'busy season' happens every year at the same time, then plan ahead. This stuff is basic.
