Fmu ?????
Well the shop doing my car might be getting rid of the FMU. Is this ok? They want to put in 30lb injectors and tune the car that way does this right .It will have an extra fuel pump and the boost level will now be 6.5 psi . Is this the correct way to do a blown application for reliablity...
It's a good idea to pull the FMU.I got rid of mine and put 36# accel injs in mine and it runs great. My mechanic and Ed Wright suggested to get rid of the FMU.i had a 6# procharger and now it's 9#s and it runs fine.

Well thanks for the reply
The shop doing the work suggested too so i will let them do what they think is best they do have to tune it anyway so they will know excatly what they need to do with injectors, tunning, setting it up so i hope it is fine thanks again..

I've got a question for those of you not running FMU's.....
If I put in 42 lb injectors and get rid of the FMU, will the PCM be able to compensate for, oh, say, 12 psi or so of boost? I'm still going to be running the T-Rex booster pump.
So, basically, will the mixture get way too lean with that much boost without the FMU to raise the FP to compensate for more air entering? Or will the PCM be able to add enough fuel by using the readings from the MAF to avoid major problems with those bigger injectors?
Need....info.....
Thanks.
