If you look at the -22 with a 64cc heads you get 8:5.1 and if you go to Ross pistons and punch in the math i get 9:0.1
http://www.rosspistons.com/calculator.php
Why am i off with the CR

What size stroke??? What head gasket size?? What is your deck height??
I just got an 8.71:1
4.030 Bore (inches)
3.48 Stroke (inches)
64 Head (cc's)
0.040 Gasket Thickness (inches)
0.0001 Deck Height (Put .0001 for zero deck) (inches)
-22 Dish or Valve Pocket [-] or Dome [+] (cc's)
where is the 8.5:1 on the diamond webpage? All I see is 8.4:1

Re: ????? with fig out CR
Keep in mind that most calculators do not use the correct gasket volume.
The gasket is not the bore diameter & often it also is not round. The 1074 is "D" shaped for reference.
Use a calculator that asks for the gasket volume in CC.
