Fastest on stock ECM?

I was thinking about making my goal to be the fastest LT1 car on the stock ECM. I've been 146 mph already. I'm pretty sure that LJ is the fastest on the stock computer other than me and he's been 148 mph. Anyone know of a faster car?

Mike

I don't know the mph, but Stephen DeXXXXestito (I can't spell it) went low 9's... I don't know if he participated in the fastest LT1 list in the drag racing section, but you might check it out..

I was planning on doing the same thing so you will have some competition
I think LJ was running FAST when he went 148 I maybe wrong. I have been 147.4 and that wasn't a full pass. My turd is currently under construction and shouldn't have a problem running 8s and 150s when it goes back together.

I didn't really want any REAL competition. . .

Anyway, how are you handling the tuning? SD or MAF?

My MAF is still on the car but doesn't do anything above 4k it maxes about there. I just left it on for street driving manners. Its funny to show someone a datmaster log when I use the transbrake maxed maf at 0mph I don't think the MAF will go back on when I drop the engine back in this time I have pretty muched turned my turd into a all out race car. I still have tags so it will have to run ok for an occasional street cruise

So you'll be running it totally SD with no MAF? Is it a 2 bar setup, or 3 bar?

Summers last race was 143.2 widh a 60shot N2O didnt understand why the gaine only was little over 2mph on the 1/4 (almost 5mph at the 1/8) beafore we opend the engine http://www.nonameracing.se/photos/de.../D_Fjadrar.JPG and the cam http://www.nonameracing.se/photos/de...cona/D_kam.jpg
Hadent opened it since spring 2005 so i guess it was time for it after 150+ runs.

So this means new cam and more power to next season, Bret have sent a cam thats totaly wicked in my opinion so we are looking forward to next season...

Tuned it myself widh tunercat and a little help from PCM forless...

In that last picture the lifter got booted far enough out of the bore that it turned sideways and rode on the cam that way for a little while. Was that from the broken valve spring?
