IDOXLR8 is running one, as am I. It fits ok. Here are the problems I encountered with it. Using a 12-rib belt, the fan shroud requred trimming modification. That was the only fit problem per se. But the intake ATI upplied was complete junk. I had to have custom solid intake fabbed up. Maks good boost but is very, very noisy.

You say that like its a bad thing.

Mike, you say you maxed out the D1SC. I'm curious as to how much boost and or power you were able to get out of it?

I called ATI a while ago to see about SC upgrades. IIRC, both the F1, and even the bigger F1R use the same bracket as the D1SC.

I'm sure the F1 would fit the D-series brackets, but not the F1R. That's a damn big blower.

In order to get the F1 to fit properly I had to grind away on the block. Also the D1SC bracket and the F1 bracket are the same. I would highly reccommend contacting SD concepts about a spring loaded tensioner. The F1 is a night and day difference from the D1SC.
