Question experienced/educated members of board please lend some intellect. p600b

I will be installing a complete used p600b s/c kit with 3 row intercooler and upgraded polished elbow. My engine is completely stock excluding an air foil, iat sensor and ported mass air. What will i need to do, as far as the tuning/ignition/fuel.

I would REALLY appreciate some help getting this thing together. I understand that i will need a better ignition with boost retard, bigger injectors and a FMU. Which ignition would you reccomend? What plugs and/or wires would you reccomend? I will have 24# injectors and a FMU which came with the kit. Would this be enough fuel supplied to the engine? Should I install a fuel pump? Could i do a PCM tune from madz28 and make it work?

Please lend some help as I am ignorant on this topic and would appreciate any/all information or advice.
Thank you for your patience with my ignorance and your help.

Most superchargers intended for stock (near stock) motors come with an auxiliary fuel pump and an FMU. This combination allows one to run stock sized injectors since fuel pressure is dramatically increased under boost. Increase fuel pressure and fuel flow through the same injector is increased.

I like the idea of a spark box that references boost to retard timing. I just haven't had much luck with the digital boxes holding up.

By the way, you'll have to run copper plugs. Platinums which normally come on the engine from the factory are a no go. Platinums run too hot for boosted motors. Try one or two heat ranges colder than stock in a copper plug for your application.

Ditch the stock injectors, fuel pump, and FMU idea. Get a set of 42# ford injectors (or a set of matched 42#ers if you can afford it) and a Racetronix intank kit. Have it dyno tuned (don't put in the injectors until you're at the dyno).

Get a few sets of NGK TR6 plugs since you'll be changing them every 10-15k miles. Add an MSD 6BTM box and a good set of wires, or a Delteq kit since changing the opti will be even more difficult with the blower.

Fuel pump: Minimum: You can use the stock in tank pump + the ati or other booster in-line pump to supply enough for a stock engine. I had this on my P600 and would start to run a little lean at 11psi. You should be fine on a 6-8psi setting.
Better: Get the racetronix in-tank 255 pump and wiring kit and no need to worry about fuel.

Injectors: Minimum: Get some SVO (cheap) 24 or 30 pounds injectors and use the FMU. You can use the stock 24's but, they might lock up at the higher pressures the FMU. (You can use the stock tune with the 24's).
Better: Get at least some 42's injectors (should be plenty for stock engine). NO FMU req'd. Will need programming changed for these.

Ignition Retard: Minimum: Get a MSD or other box with boost retard built in.
Better: Just retard the timing in the programming. Use some NGK TR6's gapped at 0.035". Stock opti and coil should be fine.

Other advice: Don’t' put a blower on a stock LT1 if you can't afford or have the down time of cracking a piston. Most people will do it. Keep it pig rich and no detonation and it will last a while but, our stock pistons can't take any detonation with boost or they will go.
