Electronic Supercharger, What exactly is it?

I was on ebay and I found this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2419415666

- I was wondering what exactly it does and how much HP will it produce? I am guessing this thing is not all that great judging by the price, however, I would like to know exactly how it works and if it hurts your motor and if its effective.

Hook a blowdryer up to it, it'll do more.

What is it? Its a complete waist of money - not to mention waist of time for even looking at that page..

This thing *might* flow enough air to create possitive pressure in the intake manifold of my lawn mower - but even that is doubtful.

Seriously look at the description "flowing up to 150cfm of air".

Why do you think they rate some of the LT1 throttle bodies at 600-900 CFM?

This supercharger will HURT performance on your car - and gain you NOTHING.

although there *could* be possibility in the near future for someone like AMG to develop something LIKE this-
that is crap.

They just developed E-brakes which are actually EXTREMELY powerful and draw very little power.

so dont count out the possiblity of one in the next 3-5 years.
then again i thought i'd see some kind of fully electronic starter by now
