Pretty cool. Looks like it's wastegated off of one bank

There really isnt such thing as wastegated off of one side when it comes to a single turbo setup.... unless one bank drives the turbo and the other doesnt at all.

In a normal turbo setup, the whole hotparts system will be pressurized... so technically the wastegate can go any where to bleed off the boost.

I was thinking that as well. I agree that the turbo dosn't care but it seems that if you are bleeding exhaust biased to one bank of the engine that the other bank is putting in more work to spool the turbine.

Or another way to put it. How does the exhaust from the non-WG side make it over to the WG when there is flow opposing it? (one of the pictures in the ebay link shows it pretty good from underneath). Its like flow in the pipe that runs from the WG side to the turbo would reverse direction or equalize everytime the WG is open.

Would just seem to me that you end up with one side of the motor working the turbine more so then the other....not that it won't work ofcourse.
