hey guys, the truck im working on is a compact full chassis cage and all, it will be a toy, show quality but i will race it, i need to know a few things, i want to go carburated, but i want alot of HP, and i cant have a Blower through the hood, i will have a small cowl but only for astetics, like 2" or less, the whole engine needs to be low profile, so i need to know if i can use an accessory mount supercharger with carburator?
or if a carb would have to be heavily modified or even custom built?
i hope to be over 600HP with this and the motor im speaking of would be a 350 4bolt or 400sbc i havent decided, if anyone can fill me in to help me finish the planning for the drivtrain, and maybe give me some personal numbers or components, i possibly have a connection at crane to get some things so i would prefer to stay with them, i will also be running a built th350 unless somone has reason not to, thanks. matt

 

There is a few blow through carb set ups out there, I have seen them but no first hand experiance.

 

does anyone else have some info on this? i need to know where to start looking to get the engine totally planned out so i will know further issues like traction and trans, and i would also like to know so i can approximate the times i could be seeing with it so i know if i need to change my cage plans or anything, thanks,
