The advanced auto guy was going crazy looking through books to find the NGK FR6 and couldn't find it. After some research he got me the autolite 404 which is 14mm Thread, 19mm (3/4") Reach, 13/16" (20.6mm) Hex Size, Gasket Seat, Resistor, Copper Core. The car is painted, going to hit the track on saturday. I looked at my logs from the dyno run and it looks like the car was just over 12lbs. I'm going to crank it up a bit and do some datalogging and test it out at the track. I also have my second fuel pump sitting at home, so I may put that in if need be.

Dam I was just looking up these plugs to be safe since I dont know anything about them and they are the same heat range as 104s, guess I'll be pulling them back out

Edit- Is the projected or non-projected tip better? The autolite 3923 is projected the 403 isnt

What transmission was it dyno'd with? That makes a huge difference when you get over about 500 rwhp. It it's an auto, the numbers aren't too far off, though I'd expect ~570 whp even still.

You may consider checking exhaust pressure. What size exhaust does the car have? What muffler?

Still a t56, I relooked at my logs, it was 12.4 psi at the manifold on the 520 run. I'm running an open downpipe, but have been thinking that I may have a lot of backpressure since it's a 385 and a t76, need to get a guage on it.

I would be surprised if it was back pressure... header kit with open 3" DP.

Ricci, did ya hit the track?

only the 1/8 mile is open on saturdays, but 7.2 @ 98. Those same numbers on my old setup would have been low 11s at high 120s, the log shows 11psi in first, 12.5psi in second, 12.5-12.7psi in third. I was hitting the limiter just going through the traps, so I probably had a couple more mph in it. I'm getting 28" tires tomorrow, so hopefully i'll go again next weekend. Definitely happy about the results. I also need to get my second fuel pump in because I was moving to 12.0 at the end of third.

To be honest, with manual tranny turbo cars, they pick up alot of mph in the 2nd half versus the first.
