What do people think of Diamond pistons
Pro's & Con's of a -22 dish piston
Is 8:5.1 to low for street driving , will the car be a dog down low...with 12+boost....

Re: diamond pistons

My old combo was 8.8:1 on 94 octane and it was certainly no dog on the street. It wasn't super fast down low, but it drove at least as well as if it were stock if not better. So nothing intolerable by any means. By about 3500 though it was making probably 85-90% of it's peak torque, and did so until ~6200-6400.

BTW, my pistons were -24cc for what it's worth.

Re: diamond pistons

my V6 is 8.5:1 and its fine NA little rich and the plug don't self clean that well but the DIS-4 fixed that

i think the diamond piston kits come with ring and wrist pins..... least they do for the V6.... and they a e "file to fit rings"
