Detonation on 1 and 2 cylinders

Over the past year, I have been misfortunate enough to have to replace the number 1 or number 2 cylinder piston or both almost regularly, 3 times to be exact. Is there anything that would cause detonation on just those two cylinders? The others are nearly flawless. I have switched around the order of the fuel injectors and flow checked them all so I dont believe that is the problem. I was wondering, since I dont know much of computer tuning, does the computer tune on a cylinder by cylinder basis? It is a stock pcm with a local guy doing the tune, pretty reputable though. I have changed wires and plugs recently and am using TR6's. Is it possible that the fuel rail is starving these cylinders by not getting enough flow to them? That doesnt seem to make sense though since if that was the case, the 3,5, and 7 cylinders would be just as bad then but they're not. I am also running 42lb injectors and the car is making about 400rwhp, does that seem to need upgrading? I am unaware of their duty cycles. Obviously this is like finding a needle in a haystack but if anyone has a remotely similar situation, any input at all will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ray

Also, would running a 6 inch rod with a slightly dished piston, 33cc I believe, have that significant effect on the strength of the pistons and the ring lands that they would fall apart this easily, they are forged probe pieces.
