D1SC guys...need some info

What size crank and blower pullies are you running and how much boost are you getting. What RPM do you see max boost. Do you have a stock motor, 355 or 383.

ATI told me they don't have a "standard" crank size pulley they offer for the D1SC in the LT1 f-body kits. They said these are the pullies available:

Crank= 6.5, 7, 7.65, 8
Blower= 5.5, 5.25, 5, 4.75, 4.5, 4.25, 4, 3.85, 3.7, 3.55, 3.4, 3.25, 3.10

Obviously there are numerous combinations here.

I'm looking for a good starting point for my 383 to get about 12lbs.

Thanks!

I'm not sure of the crank pulley size on my application. It came with the original P1SC for my 1997 LT1 Trans Am (8# kit). Maybe ATI can tell you? I had the SC rebuilt to a D1SC recently and put a 3.4" pulley on the blower. On my 383, this combo made 13.8# at 5,700 rpm. I haven't spun it to 6k yet but I would imagine it would make 15# at 6k rpm.

Maybe someone here knows what crank pulley comes with the P1SC 8# kit for the LT1?

What did that cost you?

Through ATI it's about $1300. Through Tom Byrne I paid less than $900. He handles the paperwork but never sees the blower.

8crank and 4.25 or 4.0 blower which yields 14psi@6200. This is on 355 with a 224/236 cam and worked heads.

Hey 94 slug,
What has your car dynoed? How do you like the D1SC blower? How loud is it? My P600B is pretty loud, but has been very reliable.

Whatever the D-1SC tuner kit (8#) comes with is what crank pulley I have. My blower pulley is a 3.6 and it makes 8 pounds at 5,900 rpms. It's a stock engine (except injectors) with stock exhaust manifolds and cats...it dyno'd 462rwhp tuned to 91 octane...

Its not to loud at all but when you let it rip she screams. Have not been to the dyno yet, its a 6hr drive. Still working out the bugs, but im guesing 500rwhp. Hope to go in a month or so, business sucks and funds are low . I raced my brothers 87lx 306 with a Novi2k/heads/cam and won. He dynoed 476 rwhp.
