Hey guys whats up? im new to the site and i was wondering if anyone has ever done a custom supercharger on a 1991 3rd gen tpi firebird formula with a 350. i have the vortec v2 charger just by itself. does anyone have any information on what other components i would need along with the instal. ex. pully size, tubing, ect.

 

I have done a custom setup on my car, but it isn't a 3rd gen Firebird.

It seems to me that superchargers are pretty much universal. If you put a belt on them you will get boost. I started almost from scratch, designing the s/c bracket, the piping and routing, running new fuel lines, and the intake pipe for the s/c.

It helps to have one matched to your engine size and rpm range. The other guys on here can help you with pulley sizes as I am new to the supercharging aspect. Good luck on it. A supercharged 3rd gen seems to be rare around here, but that makes it that much neater having one
