Compression for 20 psi

Just trying to figure what compression should i shoot for here....

57CC heads, -33cc pistons, i am goin to be using cometic gaskets so i can go pretty thick if needed. What ideal compression should i shoot for? Planning on runing up to 20 psi intercooled with some meth to help things out Pump gas ofcourse (93octane)

-with pump gas i would shoot for the 8.5-9.1..IF you spray allot of meth you could shoot for 9.5 and make so very nice low end tq...

-i had the cometic gasket i am taking them off they leaked, going to put on the 1074 felpro

- i don't think you will see 20psi with the D1 and the big heads/cam now...with my T -trim over sping it some AFR210s and a cam close to you i made 14lbs and i have my custom 4" piping ..

Same experience here. I saw a maximum of 13 psi from my T-trim using 3.5" intake piping and AFR 210's and overspinning it. I removed the intake piping alltogether and saw 15 psi.

The D1 pushes a good bit more air than the T-trim. He could see 20 with a D.

I run 7.65 and 3.55 it maxes the blower at 6800. I was seeing 22#s but my AFR 190s didn't flow well! With my new heads I expect around 18#s

He has a baby cam unless he is changing that? Don't know how well his heads flow. so I would say it will be damn close if he maxes the blower.

I hate to turn this into a Vortech versus Procharger debate, but . . . just because it will make more boost doesn't mean it will flow more air. The quickest S-trim car I know of went 139 mph, so I'm sure there are some T-trims over 140. The the quickest D1's at 142, there isn't much difference if any.

Vortech rates the T-trim at 1200CFM Procharger D1 1400CFM. I know Vortech doesn't under rate anything and Procharger seems to have pretty honest numbers. 200CFM is a good bit of air in my opinion
