Check out the new guage placement

Keeps it from being on the damned a-pillar, yet I can still see it compared to before they were in the cassette tape holder area

Must say, pretty happy with the way it came out for being a $5 panel

I like it - did mine the same way.
Walmart has some black spray paint that has a texture to it, will make the plastic look almost identical to some of the other rough plastic in the car.

OIC - I reused the panel that held the HVAC *****, just put a hole saw through them.

So where did you stash the HVAC controls? I've always wondered this and never see pics afterwards.

HVAC controls? What are those?

Sure gain a lot of room when you ditch the vents, box, fan, lines, compressor, condensor, blah blah.

No air, no heat, no defrost.

Very cool man. Ive always wanted to mount a small gauge pod on the steering column in front of the gauge cluster. Or even better a small, LCD screen with a detachable wire to remove it.

I've ditched the AC I'm in Sunny Fl. My car may never see past the dixie line but still that's even a little too hardcore for even I. I need the heat screw that! Defrost? That still comes in handy for me as well. Idk, I don't really drive the car enough to begin w/ so I could in theory remove all of that but still...at a minimum I've got to have heat on those cold days.

DIYautotune sells a kit for megasquirt thats like a 7" touchscreen where you can do customized gauges, graphs, etc - I have thought about running it, but its like $300 for something that looks neat.
