Camaro ls1 turbo kit

Ok I am totally new to turbos on a ls1 and I am just trying to figure out who does a good turbo kit for them and how much they are. I am also trying to figure out about how much hp I will be running. I would like to run 7 to 8 psi because of the high compression of the ls1 and I am about 400 rwhp right now. So what do you think I would have rwhp after pushing that much boost and is it safe to run even that much boost. Well if you can help me out with anything or have any good article to read it would be great. Thank you so much

no offense, sounds like you have a LOT of reading to be doing.
The only kit for an LS1 that i can think of that you can buy is the STS since i'm not sure PTK offers them anymore. Everybody on here basically does a DIY build.

wow, i forgot about APS. i always think of APS with corvettes and GTO's, forgot about their fbody setup. Would be nice to find a way to make that work with an LT1

i highly recommend Ohio Forced Inductions, APS, and Kentucky Turbo. All are sponsors over on tech and all have nice setup putting out nice numbers and performing on the track too.

I would recommend this one as well. Its very complete and some tuners are familiar with the setup and can use HP Tuners to easily tune for it.

With a stock rotating assembly, 7 psi is pushing the limit of what is "safe". If you want the car to last, I would limit it to 5 psi.

If you're willing to install a low-compression forged rotating assembly, you can go much higher.
