Breaking in motor with D1SC

I ordered my blower and my new motor should be here someday(full forged 383). I was just wondering what you guys recommend that I do as far as #'s of boost etc for the break in of the new engine. Thanks for any help!!

I'm going to leave the belt off the blower until I get the engine peoperly broken in. I'm also using a stock tune and stock injectors for break in as larger injectors and aftermarket tunes are frequently too rich to allow the rings to seat properly.

makes sense..I still have 24#svos, and a head cam cc306 tune. Think that will be ok with the added cubes of the 383, and tfs heads???

That sounds fine. If you're using a blower that is fed with engine oil, then leave it off until the oil has been changed a few times.

Most of the supercharger companies recommend synthetic oil in the head units as well and you can't break an engine in on synthetics, I plan on running regular 10-30 for break in and switching over to synthetic after a 1000 miles or so when I put the belt back on the blower.

In the title he said whe is going to be running a D1SC ProCharger. These are self-contained. No need to leave it off during the break-in. It would be ok to leave the belt off though.
