Hmm....I have heard that the newer Stangs are notorius for throwing blower belts. What kind of belt is he using? Also, what size belt?

his belt might be to tight. tell him to get his belts from napa. they are a lot cheaper $25-30. i have had the same belt on my mustang for 4 years at 20 pds of boost. tell him to becareful. if his belt is to tight he can blow the bearrings in his motor. also 13lb of boost is alot on a stock 01... good luck

Tell your friend to also take a look at the custom billet pulley at http://www.reichardracing.com

I used to have all kinds of belt slippage, shredding, etc and since I've changed to the new pulley, I haven't had one single issue.

Also, 13 lbs is quite a bit for a stock bottom end... I hope he/she has a horseshoe laying around somewhere for good luck
