Boost w/ cam... Q

I'm set on the OFI single kit for next year.
http://www.ohioboost.com/p_ls1fbody.html

I am ordering a 225/225 .581 .581 113 cam from speed inc. I'll be piecing the cam stuff together. PRC duals, hardened PR's, Cam, LS2 chain and LS6 Ported pump. I'll have it by the end of next month.

I have done enough research to know that I cannot do H/C w/boost on a stock bottom end. However, I can do just a cam w/ boost on a stock bottom end. (correct me if I'm wrong).. How much boost can I squeeze safely?

I have nothing done, yet, to my engine except LT's, 160 stat, P+P'd TB and an LS6 intake.

I've been helping out on a 242/248 600ish lift cam with a powerdyne 6psi kit.

So far its holding together but stock fuel pump can't keep up.

Made 460 letting out real early.

Why is this? Do you mean you'll make too much power with heads/cam/FI versus just a cam/FI combo? If you have ported heads, you can make more power at less boost.

^ huh.. I haven't heard that angle yet.

From what I remember reading (it's been a while), I can't do 225 heads w/ a cam and boost.. It's a bit much for the bottom end.
