Did you just buy the car or something? You should know how much boost you are running on the car. It is very important to know. Also there is a Forced Induction section on this site. They can help you out a lot more about your questions regarding that kind of stuff then we can.

You would be better off asking this question in the Forced Induction section. But If you are running around 20 psi or less of boost then I would recommed getting a gauge that has Max boost of 20 psi. It would be much easier to read.

I am running about 10-11 psi of boost and I am running a guage that reads 20psi max. Since its a 280* sweep guage its easier to read when I am under boost. A guage that reads upto 30 will be alot harder to read since the number will be smaller. Here is a pic of my gauge, its located in the AC vents of my TA along with my Electric FP guage. Both are 2 5/8 Sportman Comp guages from autometer. I dont have the part number any more but you can call up Autometer and they can recomend a good one for your needs.

Hope that helps,

The one that goes from 30 inches to 30 PSI will point to the left of zero when the car isn't getting any boost from the supercharger. The one that reads from 0-30 PSI will sit on zero until you begin building boost. I went with the Phantom series that reads from 30 inches of vacuum to 20 PSI of boost.

Here's one for the 0-30 gauge.

I would recommend a 0-15 or 0-20 psi boost + vaccum gauge. The lower boost reading is nice because you can read the numbers better. The vacuum is good in the event that you swap cams out in the future, it'd be nice to see what kind of vacuum you are pulling to see if it's enough for power brakes, etc.

The vacumn/boost one is the one you want.
