Forced Induction Supercharger/Turbocharger

blowers vs. turbos...why are more and more people switching to/going the turbo route?

The same consideration would apply to a supercharger also

But I do agree, with a properly setup engine, the turbo is more effecient at making boost than a supercharger.

This is not a question with a definitive answer... both have their pros and cons. As for as cost and ease of install, maintenance, and tuning, supercharger is the way to go. As for low end torque, adjustability, bigger boost numbers (no belt problems) go turbo.

Only thing is for a decent turbo kit you have to get it custom made... only production one I'd use a PTK with all the options... Whereas for superchargers you have many viable options AND lots of support from companies and from people.
