Big Purple going back together.

All the parts are back from the coaters and are being reinstalled for the final fitment.

Looks good... I'd love to have one of those intake elbows.

The part that is not in the pics (that goes between the TB and the IC) would look like an elephant trunk... But I was talking about the piece that goes between the single plane intake and the throttle body.

Madman, did you make that? If so, drop me a PM with how much it would cost to build one for me... That would be the only way I'd run a single plane. I don't want to mess with my cowl or hood to make everything fit. Thx!

The elbow came from INTAKEELBOWS.com. The headers are individual tube with merge collectors. They are welded 75% from the outside and completely welded inside. You just have to be good with a TIG to get the inside. The hot pipe runs under the frame to the turbos. I was trying to get as much fresh air and keep some of the heat away from the engine compartment. I also needed room for the radiator.

They have some nice stuff... And their welds are beautiful. $200 isn't a bad deal either. I'll give them a shout when I feel like tearing the intake off again.

Madman, hate to dig up an old one.....I need pics of the drivers side of the elbow. How did you hook up the throttle cable? Is that a Super Vic intake?

BTW this is BIG DAVE!

The reason I ask is I have the same thing.

Brian I cant see much in that pic. Did you use the stock throttle cable and holder? If not what did you use? And where is the holder fastened?

And the valvecovers, did you mod the passenger side front? What kind are they?

Thanks

David

Its a stock cable that I built a bracket to bolt down where the hat bolts to the intake. I dont know whose valve covers they are. They were on the car when I started.
