I believe they have two designs or style for the Elec Fuel Press gauge. I installed one on my cousins Trans Am and it had a straight plug in harness that went from the sender to the gauge.
Although I installed one for a friend which uses a Box and 3-4 wires from the gauge and 3-4 from the sender go to the box ....
Not sure on this but you guys may want to swap yours for the model which uses the harness. I have had a few friends have problems with the one that uses the box
