ATI Procharger Question???

How can I tell how many pounds my supercharger will boost? I bought a used P600B with the 2 core intercooler. I don't know if this is the standard charger or the high output one. So will it be 6lbs or 9lbs. Please help!!

Boost is relative. The charger will make different boost levels on different motors depending on your combination. The only way you are going to find out exactly what it will make is to strap it on, set the timing nice and low and the fuel ncie and high and go for a ride..

Other than that, you can measure the pullies you got (the crank pulley and the supercharger pulley) and call ATI, tell them what you have done to your motor and they will give you a rough estimate what kind of boost it should produce on your motor.

As far as output, all P600B superchargers flow the same amount. The difference in the standard & high output kits are the pulley & intercooler sizes.

There was an early P600 that was lower output... notice it does not have a "B" in the P/N. This to the best of my knowledge was never used in the LT1 kits.

If you tell me the car you are using it on as well as the pulley sizes I can tell you the kit output.

95 Z, 7" crank pulley and 3" charger pulley, 2-core intercooler.

From those sizes, I think you are measuring the outside edge of the pulleys...... you have to measure the dia. from the highest point of one of the ribs. Be precise as .1" is roughly 2# difference. You can also wrap a piece of paper around one to get the circumference, then measure the length & divide by 3.1416 to get diameter.

for reference the crank is usually 7.65" & the blower 3.05", 2.95" 2.75" or 2.55".
