I saw this ATI procharger head unit on ebay, and was wondering...what else would i need besides the head unit? I hear that they are internally lubed, so theres no oil lines...

Does ATI sell the FMU seperately?
I would also like to incorporate an intercooler, i could fabricate the piping myself, maybe the brackets but i woud rather buy them if i can somewhere.

I would recommend looking in the for sale section for a used FMU, blower bracket and intercooler. What model ATI are you looking at? P1SC?

 

either one if the price is right at the time.

I am kindof leaning more towards turbo but I am checking out other options.
I kindof like the idea of making stuff yourself from scratch

 

The old P600B and the larger race blowers use engine oil. Most of the newer entry-level and mid-level blowers (P1SC, D1SC) are self contained. If you or someone you know is pretty good with metal fab, making a bracket wouldn't be too extremely tough. Unless the head unit is at a ridiculously low price, wait for a kit that somewhat complete (at least w/ a bracket & pullies). There's at least one or two a week on EBay.
