Anyone use the B&M Superjection for the blower?!
I just got that setup and it looks KILLER!!! There are 6 adjustments on the box to make ( which may be tough ) but it is MADE for the blower so it shouldnt be too tough. Do you like it?! Any recommendations on what baselines to set everything at so I can then fine tune it?! Can you change the injectors to bigger sizes for more performance?! Right now they are DARK BLUE caps.....what lb are those ones!? This may be an older setup.....I dont see it for sale anymore ANYWHERE. Any info is appreciated, Thanks!!!---

Here are pics:

Are the DARK blue caps on the injectors really 24# ones or sure?! Should I upgrade to the 30# red cap ford ones OR would that mess up the calibration on the computer?! THANKS GUYS---

like 2-3 inches, but the shorter the better IMO.....I dont want a hole in my hood or a big gaudy 4-6" cowl, lol---
ps. still not sure if I am going to use THIS setup or my old 650 holley D.Pumper, lol....heard tuning this is a BIATCH!!! Well its going on my 327 with a 142 blower if that wasnt obvious from my signature

Oh, ok its an AirSensors kit licensed to B&M back in the day. I just sold one of those throttle bodies. Make sure you run standard port efi pressure with that system, 40-45 psi. Autonomics services those systems if you need anything, such as a manual.

Oh neat!!! Glad you could explain a little to me. That site it GREAT!!! I emailed them about the injectors. All they show are LIGHT BLUE ford 24# ones....mine are DARK BLUE. Any baseline adjustments you can help me with so I can start to fine tune it once its on?! Did you like the way it ran on the blower or do you prefer the good old 4 barrel carbs?! THANKS!!!---

Re: Anyone use the B&M Superjection for the blower?!
I just had the throttle body I was going to use on a MegaSquirt project. You should check into the injector ratings to ensure you have enough flow. One thing odd is that the standard AirSensors kit did not use a TPS, which is weird. I can't tell if yours does either from the pics. They were the first to use MAF meters in an aftermarket system.
Re: Anyone use the B&M Superjection for the blower?!
TPS? Whats that? I just got an email back from BRUCE at the auto-nomics site and he says I have 52lb injectors ; WHOA!!!! I am sure that will be PLENTY!!!---
Re: Anyone use the B&M Superjection for the blower?!
TPS is Throttle Position Sensor. It tells the computer you are changing the load on the engine. Now the MAF is mounted very close and that may take care of transition fueling just fine, but I still thinks its strange they don't normally use one.
52# * 4 = 208 lb/hr
208 lb/hr / .55 BSFC = 378 hp @ 100% duty cycle
378 * 85% duty cycle = 321 hp.
You might look into an upgrade if you plan on making more than say 350hp.

Re: Anyone use the B&M Superjection for the blower?!
Oh jeez!!! Is that BSFC a constant ( what does it stand for? ) You are VERY knowledgable!!! I think the engine is about 400hp now.....and will be around 500hp (crank) with the 142 on it. What lb injectors do you recommend?! My LT1 is about 400hp crank and I am about to add a 125hp shot of no2....but was told by Madz28 to put 30# injectors in it ( already bought them!!! ) ....now I think they are way too small too?!?!? Is the 650dp Holley I have going to be strong enough for the 142 if I decided to go that route?! Thanks Mark!!!---
Re: Anyone use the B&M Superjection for the blower?!
First e-mail Bruce and ask him if the ecu will drive 4 low-impedance injectors, it may. If it will then I would suggest some 96 lb injectors. Remember you only have 4 of them. Rob @ Force EFI has blueprints for fuel rails for your throttle body, or you can get top mount hose adapters from MSD.
You 650 will work but will limit you and may go rich on the top end due to the way its calibrated. I would suggest an 850 DP and an 8.5 or 10.5 power valve on both ends.
BSFC = Brake Specific Fuel Consumption, it is how much fuel is consumed to make 1 HP/hr. The rich end is usually .55 lb of gas for a blown engine. It is the measure of engine efficiency.

Re: Anyone use the B&M Superjection for the blower?!
I didnt even think of having 4 instead of 8 injectors, good call!!! I will email Bruce and ask him. What will the fuel rails do for me?! Thanks again---
