anyone running a p600b

Is anyone running a p600b? If so what did it do for you. Any track testimonials? Is it worth $3800 or is a NA motor a cheaper way to go.
Superchargers are just quick HP.

A p600b for $3800 is a rip off. What kind of budget are you working with? If it is less than $5000 than I would highly recommend doing a heads and cam package and maybe some spray. Superchargers are fun but extremely expensive.

Agreed

Back in the day when my Z was stock it ran 13.67 @ 100.52 with a few bolt ons.

After installing a P600B 7#, it went 12.43 @ 110.93 on the first pass and I eventually got it to run 11.81 @ 116.50 on 8#'s of boost.

After two years the tranny was toast and 3 days after fixing the tranny the motor blew up (see above quote)

It did make 405 RWHP / 418 RWTQ on 8#'s of boost (393 RWHP on 7#'s of boost). I don't have any stock dyno numbers.

If you are looking to buy a Pro Charger and want a good deal I recommend getting ahold of Lonnie Pavtis www.westol.com/lpavtis

He's got excellent prices and tech support.

"E" mail's lpavtis@earthlink.net and lpavtis@westol.com

I paid less for my D1 new! That 3800 number is just a small amount of what your really going to spend. You will also need to buy forged short block, fuel system, reflash ecm, ignition, tranny, rear, and it goes on and on and on and never stops. If you have 7k+ go for forced induction, if not go heads cam. Depends upon what your goals and funds are.

If you cant do your own labor dont even think about going forced induction. IMO

You can buy a used one for half the price. I sold my old P600B setup for $1800, including the 3-core w/ all the tubing/brackets to make it front mount.
