Anyone need turbo headers for your LT1?

If anyone is interested in a turbo set-up for their LT1, I know someone who will be making the headers (1 3/4 tubes) for both sides, 2 1/2 crossover and a 3 1/2 dp. Everything will be stainless and the price will be around $1650.
The kit will not come with a turbo or wastegate. I guess that you could get whatever you need for your particular application.
If you are enterested in these parts and want to do the rest yourself, I think that it is a pretty good deal.
As far as I know,he is going to try and have some available at the North vs. South race in Bowling Green on the 31st .
I was just wondering if anyone would be interested.

I have the turbo header, crossover and DP on my car. He is making both sides for these kits with the same crossover and DP.

Here is where you can see a few pics of the header http://groups.msn.com/Zturbo/rogers.msnw

I am planning on having my car at the event in Bowling Green.

Waylon at Burhead headers here in KY. He done everything on my car and I am very pleased with the results. It is the first time since I put a turbo on my car that I don't have any exhaust leaks!

They have done headers for Buick's for a while. He made some twin kits at one time for the LT1's. He has not done anything for a while due to an illness. I think that he is getting back into it though.

All I would want is the Exhaust. I have the rest of the system, But I would like to replace the rest of my turbo tech setup (the exhaust is all thats left)

From what i herd Waylon had cancer and after he started building the twin kits there was some fitment problems and he couldn't back up his product, which if anyone of you has ever had or knows someone who had cancer you would understand. They really need to concentrate on getting better, because if they don't they die, so unfortunately some customers may have taken the back burner. I really like this style of header because it will let me keep the majority of my current system intact. The pro turbo kit while being nice is still pricey and all i really want is the exhaust tubing. When and where will this be available?

You are correct about Waylon having cancer. I know that he had a really hard time with it. My car was at his shop for about a year while all of this was going on. I still find it hard to believe that he was willing to finish it with all that he was going through.

I am really pleased with the work that he done on my car. He was more than willing to make any changes that I wanted and to make sure that everything fit. In my opinion, he does a very good job.

He has the parts on order now for the headers. I hope to have my car back at his shop within a week or so so that he can use it to test fit the headers, crossover and downpipe. I think that he wanted to have some done by the end of the month so that he could take them to the N vs S race in Bowling Green, but that is just around the corner. I hope to have my car there (as a spectator) if anyone wants to see any of his work. I will keep everyone posted on the headers.

My dad just went thru a round with cancer and almost died, but as of a few months ago was declared cancer free. After cemo he was always shot for days and couldn't do much. I hope waylon is back on the road to recovery.
