This is what LJ did, a Spearco intercooler for his Vortech YS
http://para.noid.org/~lj/cooler.jpg Check out the size of that!
Many people have actually done this and intercooler is much better in cooling the compress air than an aftercooler for daily driving and such, when you don't have a chance to put ice in between every 1/4 mile.
cheers

That's what I was thinking Hugh. What are you using? I know that when it's time for me to up the boost I can't without using one so I am trying to figure out options now...
EDIT- That intercooler is HUGE!!!

I'm actually sticking to my aftercooler with the mustang ice tank for now. This is also because LJ used this setup to get to his 9sec runs with the S-trims. I don't know if there is any kit out for an intercooler for the Vortech. Since you have installed the supercharger yourself, you probably won't have to much difficulty getting an intercooler to work (may need some fab). The aftercooler was really easy to install. The intercooler is definitely a plus for street driving.
You can also search on the blown list at

It is still internally stock.
And up here at 3,400 feet, I must run 15 - 20% xylene in my premium 92 octane fuel in order to keep the knock count down.
Hope this helps

I have a T-trim, and I was talking to a guy at the shop I go to about getting an intercooler of some sort. He recommended the air-air intercooler for the street as suggested above. He was talking about possibly being able to use the ATI 3-core single intercooler kit and fairly easily adapting it to fit my T-trim. Just a thought.
