Well, I think I will take everyone's advice and not bother buying a mockup vehicle. If someone with a 3rd gen wants to drop off their vehicle then I will do a kit, but no mail order stuff. Thanks everyone.

Good luck man! I think it says alot when you see us thirdgen guys tell ya that it isnt worth it... we would LOVE to see someone make a kit but we all know deep down it would be a complete waste of time and money for the person building it.. I would set your sights on the 2010. there is going to be an EXCELENT niche for you there. so many other companies are going to be selling hot side along for 2500+. I think someone bringing what you offer on the LT1's would be able to clean up with the ppl that have more common sense that money.

the 5th gen option is actually a great idea. definently seems like a viable option.

If I could afford one, I'd be driving it... not using it for mockups

Ya I would even say make your first kit for the V6 since all the other big companies are focusing on the V8, a turbo V6 in the 400-450hp range would light a fire under the stock LS3 guys ***!

Skrew buying one! I would rent one from hertz for a week or two and mock it up on that that would only cost you about 600-700 and your done!

.02, definitely don't go down the 3rd gen road (no money for sure). It's hard enough to get LTx guys to spend money on a turbo setup. It would be nice to see you further refine the LT1 kits with .1, .2, etc. versions
