because i saw you are doing 190cc AFR heads for your turbo 383 and they are even smaller than the 210cc AFR heads you did for your NA 401 LT1?
Not sure how easy it would be, but I would send the heads to another shop to have checked out before they get assembled. If they are confident about it there should be ZERO problems from them (GTP). I say this because I am not sure they is a flow bench in Kuwait. I have never heard of GTP heads flowing as advertised from GTP, and recently experienced it first hand - no hearsay! Buyer beware.

Good luck,
Ryan

as procharged said, They will end up around 205-210cc when done.

The only reason I am started with 190s is "the price was right". I would prefer 195s.

i think the GTP 220s will work great, craig knows how to make stuff go fast.

Jordon, one more question, why you went with a 383 over a 396? thanks.

I felt that I couldn't get enough piston on top of a 396. Also, no need for cubic inches.. cept at low(non boost) rpm. The turbo will more than make up for it

I like you fan set up for painting in the garage, that is a good idea. I had never thought of that I used to just leave the garage open so it would vent out. Your car is so bad, I wish I still had mine.

Coo. Good to know that Autozone tool works on mild steel.

Looks very nice!

My setup will be very similar to yours. My biggest worry is going to be drivers side plug access.

What size primarys and crossover pipe did you decide to use?

I'm going to run 1 5/8 primarys, and a 2 1/4 crossover tube.

I am using 1 3/4 primaries and 2.5" cross over. it has plenty of room for plug access....

Jordan,

Looks good. Mine's gonna be a up a lilttle bit from that location, but still very similar. I haven't decided if I'm gonna have my turbo oriented like yours, or turned 180* with the intake coming from the closest fender. How much extra clearance did that BMR K-member give you for the downpipe, and is it 3" or 3-1/2"?

Did you use the same basic x-over design (minus the lame wastgate location) as the turbotech kit?

Mike
