Another minor setback

Just got my new exhaust welded in today and went out for a test run, ended up loosing the blower belt which took out the cooling fans (literally broke the fan loose from the plastic fan shroud), wiring for the temp sending unit, wiring for the electric water pump, and the oil feed line for the blower . I'm gonna order a new oil feed line in stainless steel after this little adventure.

off topic..but what headgaskets and heads do you use to get down to 8.3:1 with those pistons? I have trickflow 62cc heads and felpro 1074s and with a stock deck height it came out to 8.3:1

That sucks man! Which blower were you running? My D1SC's belt gets close to the fans casing. I always was concerned that the two might make contact and take out the belt.

Good luck with the fix.

I'm running the iron LT1 heads which also have a 62cc combustion chamber and the 1074's also. Looks like I'm gonna get out pretty cheap on this one, I have some friends at a hydraulics shop that are gonna make a stainless steel braided oil line for me and another friend had a fan assembly laying in the garage so it's only gonna cost me 16.00 for a new pigtail for the temp sending unit .

I'm running the T-Trim, it had an inch of clearance or more before the belt came loose and knocked it off the housing
