Alcohol Injection Results

Hey guys,

I managed to mount a remote temperature probe to measure airtemp from the blower.

Because this is a roots setup, i don't have much room for drilling and tapping for a sensor. SO.. I took a spare 3/8's nipple I had under the blower sent it to a PCV elbow with a sensor with the other outlet going to the inlet of the blower with a vaccum restrictor.

So, pressure enters the elbow goes around the sensor and is then sucked back into the blower inlet.. The big idea is a airflowover the sensor. I think this should be good... What do you guys think?

Anyways I took it out and it seems like under 3-4 second burst in 2nd gear at 9psi only manages to pull up the temperature by about 2-3 degrees. (around 100 F) Am I dreaming? thats extremely cool for a blower and realy good for a roots blower car

I think that that flowover you are doing is not "compressing" the air because its acting like a bypass valve... so the air cools down again when it expands on its way through the sensor...
