8 rib horsepower capabilities.

What is max hp a 8 rib can handle. Also is 600 rwhp possible on a p-1sc or even a d-1sc. This will be on a built 355 or 383 lt1. Thanks

I have an 8 rib and SDCE tensioner on my F1A. I'm making around 600rwhp with a 4.25" pulley. Lots more choices on belts sizes and their cheaper too. I'm getting good longevity out of my belts and they are not stretching or slipping. Idler pulley has only minimal wear.

Sure is. I had a crank pulley spacer machined to take place of the crank trigger setup. After measuring for it, it lined up perfectly. I didn't have the reverse thread nut for the idler pulley when i got it though. Who would have though a reverse thread nut of that pitch would have been as hard to find as it was. I bought a few of them. Nice setup though i must say. Cudos!
