42# or 55#?

Here's my proposed setup (I'm determining prices right now):
355 LT1 w/ Vortech S-trim (boost unknown) w/ Aquamist setup. Ported heads w/ intake, 67gph pump.

Some have said go 42#, some say go higher.
Also, I need to look for high-impedance, correct?

How much power are you looking to put down?

I am using 50# MSD Injectors that bought from Combination Motorsports (they are flow tested too).

If you are not using and Impedence box, you will need the High Impedence Injectors which the 50# MSD are.

Hope that helps,
Claude

Hoping for somewhere between 450 and 500 at the wheels (more would be ok, too).

Got a website for them?

Im in that area with Ford Motorsports 42lbs. Just go to the vender list on the left side of the screen, there will be many places that have 42s or 50s.

Here is a link:

I have heard of a few folks going up as high as 600RWHP with the 50# injectors and a Good Fuel Pump.

Hope that helps,
Claude

Geez $220 to upgrade to the 50#. I think I'll see if I can do with the 42#s.

42's can make it to and over 600rwhp depending on what your bsfc is, but you really gotta start paying attention to them over 550rw with any set up.

I thought the stock computer would only run low impedence injectors, and highs required a stand alone FMU.

The factory computer only run high Z injector, Max is 50s and now Racetronix just came out with a new high Z 55s injector that can be run with stock ecm. The low Z are 75s 83 so on, these low z injector are required the use of aftermarket computer to control it or the the converter box.
