40mm wastegate.. ok for 355 ~12-14 pounds?

hey guys, I just picked up a real HKS 40mm wastegate, I plan on running a minimum of 12 pounds of boost and more likely 14-15 pounds on a normal basis.. I figure this gate will be fine for those boost levels, but would sure like to have any out there who have or are running a similar size gate firm up this prediction.. any input is appreciated!

we need more info before you can answer this, what size turbo, what size motor, etc...

btw, the advatage to a larger wategate is being able to bypass more air and run LESS boost, since 12-14 lbs is relatively high boost levels, a single 40mm should be alright on an lt1/ls1 single turbo setup. just be aware that you may not be able to run low boost levels, and may experience boost creep if the wastegate cannot move enough exhaust past the turbo

Just FYI, I'm using a 40 mm Tial, T-76GTS, and 363 - 383 cid and was always able to get boost down to 11 psi (base spring setting) and up to 20+ psi.
