2 weeks and almost 2k miles...

yes, almost 2000 miles in 2 weeks. And it is SO much fun. by far the most fun I have had driving my car. its like having nitrous all the time. 530+rwtq @ 2800 or so.

I do miss the snappy throttle response of 12.5:1 and a solid roller cam tho.

guess its nice to do something diff.. tho I do wanna build another big time NA motor

I need to get the fuel system done so I can turn up the wick

Now ya COULD have went with a solid roller.......the 12.5:1 compression may not have been very boost and octane friendly though, lol.

im felin ya on the low end throttle response. LOL

I went to the track this weekend. Blew the tubes off at 300' and coasted to a 13.75 @ 75mph. LOL

Working on rebuilding a new discharge tube from turbo to intercooler and then going back to the track. Ive solved the tubes blowing off problem. LOL

guido, I ran a bead of weld at the end of each tube, combined with t-bolts and nice SI couplers.. i am hoping it holds up when I turn it up.

I am gonna do 2 walbro inlines, 10an to the front, 8an back

I flared the ends of my tubes. Didnt seem to help. I found out the other day that a guy I work with, same guy who welded my cage in, has a bead roller. When I get the new tube done, Im going to take it out there and roll beads on all my tubes, AND fabricate tabs to bridge each connection with a piece of steel to create a positive connection between the two tubes. That should hold it! LOL

Your fuel system is the same setup I am currently running "Twin parallel 255LPH inlines" . I'm having my rails machined right now to accept the AN fittings. I'm hoping to have all of it done by next week.

1. I know you have not turned up the boost yet, but how does the overall power feel compared to your last solid roller setup?

Does it feel as good as the solid roller setup did running on motor?

2. Also , how would you compare the off boost throttle response to a (STOCK) Lt1.

out of boost(below 2K) it feels SLIGHTLY less snappy than stock Lt1.

on the boost as it is, it FEELS way faster because of the massive low end torque.. howeve,r I would guess they would run similar quarter mile numbers. I am changing cams soon tho.

59apache-
not sure what you are saying, he asked about the throttle response OUT of boost. which is is slightly WORSE than a stock LT1.

in boost, it willsmack around even head/cam LS1s easily

Good to hear everything is working well.

Why did you decide to change cams, and what are you changing to?

Also, what rearend gears are you using?
