according to some tuning buddies..folks are 'building' high compression
blower/turbo motors for alcohol kits like these..my buddy Dave Cain in Florida
says it's the newest wave..he's tuning pump gas 30 psi motors on isopropyl
alcohol with these kits..
an NMRA buddy of mine is building a blown mod motor to run 30 psi
with this kit...
You better go checkout the turbo buick guys and the mustang boards..
they are usually on the cutting edge of boosted applications..
If you don't believe..just wait till one of those guys pulls along side!..LOL

I thought I'd just pass it along here.

See ya on da Power Tour!

Matt
Yah, but ya drink cheep beer

BTW, howcome you went with MAF referenced and not boost referenced controller? Don't your MAF max out right away? Edited - Ignore this - I read it wrong - It's MAP referenced, not MAF - Kevin

Seeya next time you make it to Da Grove.

I call it 'free' beer!!

it's MAP(boost) referenced..splices into the MAP input..has high input impedance
so it doesn't affect the reading to the FAST box..

I may be up there for an IMSM race.. http://www.imsmracingseries.com/forums/index.php

Sorry, I see that I read it wrong. After 3 days, my hangover is still like a LA fog on my brain. My system was available both ways (MAF & Boost), but it has a built in pressure sensor in the module. Do you have pressure or flow monitoring set to to pull timing for safety?

Seeya if you get up here for the race - really interested in what you've done with the car since I've seen it last.
