y pipe bolting to I pipe

Im getting pacesetter long tube headers for my 95 Z28. How dose the y pipe bolt to the I pipe I was just thinking how does that go together will i need to get a pipe made to fit them together. or is there a flange on th y pipe that will bolt to the I pipe where the cat did. I have 1 cat on my car just to let you know. Thanks.

LTs completely change the location of the stock catback. You will no longer be able to run the stck cat in its current location. Your I-pipe will run right beside your driveshaft.

The Pacesetter y-pipe doesn't have flanges, it is a slip fit style pipe.

What are you connecting it to, stock exhaust, aftermarket catback?

You could have a shop weld a flange onto the y-pipe and connect them that way. Or you can remove the flange from the Flowmaster if it has one, and try to connect the pipes that way and secure them with either a u-clamp or band clamp.
