I really want a quiet highflowing muffler. Not sure what to buy though. My setup is mac mids, no cats, stock i-pipe. I really want a quietish muffler for this setup with no drone or rasp.

 

Loud is relative. I have a twister muffler in the I pip of my Borla. I'm runnong the same headers but my Y is catted. Not real loud and no rasp plus I can plug up the right side and the exhaust will flow through the Borla muffler.

Borla, Magnaflow, Dynomax, SLP, Hooker all have some relatively quiet mufflers.

 

I've got a hooker catback with a QTP cutout before the rear axle. I must say, the hooker is incredibly quiet compared to dumped, but still gives you a nice V8 growl. When you get on it, however, the hooker catback roars like a lion and sounds pretty damned good. That's with stock manifolds, and I've heard that with headers it sounds much better WOT.

 

Another vote for the Hooker Aerochamber. I liked it so much I actually made a custom exhaust for my V8 Grand Cherokee with one, and now my wife won't give me back my Jeep!

 

i don't know... i sorta like that slp one i got the other day...

looks like a 5" diameter pipe with 2 3" reducers on the ends...lol
