What catback

Im having trouble picking what cat back exhaust. for my girlfriends 97Z28. we both like magnaflow and the hooker, and i kind of like the TSP rumbler. wich of the 3 do you guys think would be best. Sound is most important. but performance is a close second. any info or ideas would be helpful. thanks

thats not a question we can answer for you really.

they all sound and perform great.

my personal choice would be the magnaflow...had it on 2 cars...loved it.

Tough call, I like the sound of the Hooker, but the quality of the Magnaflow is amazing for what it costs.

I wasn't "smart enough" to buy a cat-back system but I did however buy a Hooker Aerochamber muffler and I like how it sounds, mellow at idle and when cruising but when you "get on it" it sounds really nice and aggresive. I love how it sounds.

from what i hear TSP Rumbler is very similar to SLP Loudmouth and Loudmouth is stainless steel and priced very similar to the ones u are mentioning...

+5 Votes for SLP Loudmouth right here!!!
had it on my car for almost a year now and loving it

If your looking at Hooker and Magnaflow you might want to consider the new Edelbrock system. Heres my clip:

And from inside:

Mine came with 3 foot long stainless 3" slant cut tips, but the rest is aluminised steel. I cannot fault the sound. Have fun choosing.

Magnaflow. Good sound and stainless. Polished muffler and tips. Search E-bay for deals as prices vary.

My buddy has TSP Rumbler on his LT1 and it sounds SOOOO friggin good! He says it's a bit loud for him, but he's also got LT's w/ an ORY. It is the SLP LM's cousin exhaust as I see it, like mentioned above.

Magnaflow is a great bang for the buck, and isn't too loud for a DD.
