i recently bought a 2000 z-28 ragtop the exhaust doesnt sound bad but i would like it to sound better what can i do that isnt terribly expensive? and also my title says it has a police package on the car but i dont know what that means any idea? the car is stock as it is now

 

You can change out the factory muffler with a Magnaflow #12267 (about $105) or for a more aggressive/louder sound a Flowmaster Super 44 #9430462 (about$80).

Either Summit or Jegs or even Ebay for a cat-back.

As far as the Police package just search B4C package- it will tell you everything you need to know.

 

thanks guys i bought a magnaflow 15684 cam bak off ebay for 380. everywhere else it was at least 520. and the b4c thing i guess no one really knows whats different about a police package z28 over a normal. a lot of people think they do but a lot of other people think that those people dont
