I have a 96 Z28 camaro and everything is stock, well except the muffler (Flowmasters 80 ser) I want to improve the the exhaust system, Headers, cats, pipes the hole 9 yards. My only problem is im not sure what brand to get or which one will give me more bang for my buck and how big the pipes should be. All in all i want more hp and a deeper/ louder sound. Any information would be appreciated.

 

Do you want shortys/mids or long tubes? Are you required to pass emissions or have a cat?

LPP and Pacesetter both make great budget long tubes. If you can afford the extra $$$, get the LPP's because they are stainless.

 

It would be best if that the car is emission friendly seeing how i move around alot... How big should the pipes/headers be should i get headers that are 1 3/4 inch and from the cats back be like 2.75 in or what?
